DLC
was founded in 2000 by Jeroen Le Jeune and Ronny Dillen. Our operational
start took place with the release of our first intermodal train on 2/04/2002
between the port of Antwerp and Schwandorf.
In
January 2003 we obtained a safety certificate which enabled us to drive
through the Netherlands. DLC is the first foreign company who disposes
of this kind of license, therefore we consider it to be a real milestone
in our history.
From that day on a rapid growth followed and since
January 2003 our staff has been multiplied by ten. The amount of engines
has expanded enormously
too, mainly with cross border locomotives in Belgium, the Netherlands and
Germany.
